This particular extract is standardized in linalool; a monoterpene present in nature in two isomers with different organoleptic properties. In the volatile fraction of coriander, the most abundant isomer is the S(+) form which gives a sweet and floral taste.

ACTION

Linalool has several beneficial properties, the most significant of which are the ability to promote anxiolytic and antidepressant effects.
This molecule can interact directly with the monoaminergic system,inhibiting post-synaptic serotonin receptors, and acting on α-adrenergic receptors and N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors.
