Cranberry powder extract standardised to 5% A-type Proanthocyanidins
ACTION
PACs present in cranberry can promote the maintenance of a healthy urinary tract; in particular, A-type PACs counteract the adhesion of uropathogenic bacteria to the bladder epithelium.
This interaction inhibits the initial stage of infection, resulting in a beneficial preventive action in the lower urinary tract and combating the onset of common urinary tract disorders (e.g. cystitis).
